Australian press said today that the country#;s beer and wine giant Foster's is to launch four flavours of its Sub-Zero alcoholic mixed drink in China at the beginning of March this year. China has been seen by foreign drinks companies as one of the hardest markets to crack, after a series of high profile failures in the country. However head of the company's international arm, Richard Scully, was reported as saying today that Foster#;s $A8m in losses in China in 2000-2001 will be closer to $A4m in 2001-2002. The brewer and winemaker also expects to break even there in 2002-2003.
