Campari, the Italian drinks group, suffered a fire at its headquarters yesterday. Fortunately there were no casualties and the blaze was put out by fire services in half an hour.

Talking to Reuters, a fire brigade spokes man said he was unable to ascertain the cause of the fire, which engulfed the top floor of the Milan offices.

"Ten fire trucks intervened and were able to put out the flames quickly. No one was injured but at the moment we cannot quantify the damage," the spokesman said.
