A fire earlier this week at the home distillery of Remy Cointreau's rum brand, Mount Gay, has been extinguished.

Yesterday, the Mount Gay Twitter account said there had been a fire at its distillery in St Lucy on the island of Barbados. The company reported that the fire has since been put out and that no injuries were reported.
