UK soft drinks maker Fentimans has rolled out several of its flavours in the popular slim can format.

The company said today that Rose Lemonade, Curiosity Cola, Wild English Elderflower and Cherry Cola have launched in the 25cl can. The roll-out is targeted at on-the-go outlets as well as the on- and off-premise.

A fifth can, Sparkling Lime and Jasmine flavour, is "coming soon", the firm said.

"Creating cans will make our drinks accessible in areas where glass is not permitted, which was the next logical step for the brand. We also enjoy giving our consumers more opportunities and occasions to taste our... drinks," said Andrew Jackson, marketing director at Fentimans. "We hope to see our customers drinking the cans on the move, at coffee shops or when having a summer picnic."

The cans carry an RRP of GBP1.30 (US$1.69).

The UK has seen several firms move into cans. Earlier this year, Diageo launched a range of RTD iced coffees under its Baileys brand in the market.
