Maxxium UK has announced that The Famous Grouse is to be backed by a GBP2.75m TV advertising campaign this Christmas.

The campaign, which for the first time will feature the entire Famous Grouse portfolio including The Famous Grouse Malt and The Famous Grouse Liqueur, will run nationwide during November and December.

There will be three executions, one of which - Red Carpet - will be new to viewers. The ads, created by agency AMVBBDO, will be broadcast on both terrestrial and satellite TV channels.

"This Christmas will be our first portfolio-wide advertising campaign, featuring not only The Famous Grouse Finest, but also our malt and liqueur," said Maxxium UK's senior marketing manager for The Famous Grouse, Emma Heath. "Just as all previous ads have been extremely well received, we're confident that the new Red Carpet execution, starring the legendary Grouse, will be another hit with consumers."

Maxxium added that the six-week TV advertising campaign would form part of a Christmas promotional programme over all trade sectors.
