Infinite Spirits, Inc. has appointed a new vice-president of marketing. The company announced today (30 November) the addition of Nancy Ramamurthi to the company's executive management team. In her new position, Ramamurthi will be responsible for directing all brand marketing efforts for Infinite Spirits' Shakers premium vodka brand.

Ramamurthi brings more than 10 years of consumer marketing experience to Shakers having led brands at Kraft, The Coca-Cola Company, Yahoo!, and most recently, Pfizer.

"We have focused on developing and bringing the best possible vodkas to market with our Shakers line, and consumer pull has been outstanding thanks largely to strong word of mouth," said Tim Clarke, CEO, Infinite Spirits. "With Nancy Ramamurthi's help, we're looking to step up our marketing activities and give the Shakers brand a larger, more focused effort."

Most recently, Ramamurthi served as director of consumer strategy and planning at Pfizer, where she was responsible for managing consumer objectives and strategies for a US$2.9 bln brand portfolio. Ramamurthi was also a senior marketing executive at Yahoo! for four years, where she helped develop consumer marketing strategies.

"This is a very exciting time to join the Shakers team," said Ramamurthi. "Shakers has already established itself as a world class vodka and I look forward to helping it become a world class brand."
