E&J Gallo has announced a US tour for its Barefoot Bubbly brand ahead of the wine's Times Square New Year's Eve tie-up.

The firm said today that a nation-wide 'Bring the Bubbly' tour will be fronted by TV presenter Allison Hagendorf, the official host of New Year's Eve Times Square. The Barefoot Bus tour will end at the Manhattan landmark, where the brand will host a party as 'official bubbly' of the event.

"A recent survey from Barefoot Wine & Bubbly found that half of Americans and nearly three in four Millennials (74%) agree that ringing in the New Year in Times Square is on their bucket list," the firm said. "Barefoot recognises not everyone can make it to celebrate the magic of New Year's Eve live in Times Square, but believes everyone deserves to take part in the celebration.

"Barefoot's Bring the Bubbly tour shares the excitement of the Big Apple and the spirit of inclusiveness to people across the country."

Last month, Gallo's Barefoot Bubbly brand rolled out a sparkling Pinot Grigio in the UK market.
