Iceland's Einstök Beer Co has secured further distribution in the US, as it looks to grow its export business.

From June, Einstok will be available in 14 US states

The company said earlier this week that it had signed deals with Glazer's in Arkansas and Rhoades Beverage in Indiana. Next month, the brand will expand to Colorado via Tivoli Distributing and to Michigan through Powers Distributing.

Einstök's beers are now available in 14 US states, as well as export markets including the UK and China.

"With so many great local breweries, craft beer enthusiasts are asking retailers for unique, high-quality options to expand their flavour and cultural horizons," said Einstök founder Jack Sichterman. "Considering we brew in the north of Iceland with a single source of glacial water, Einstök answers that question better than just about anybody right now."

The company said its has doubled its sales every year since 2011.

"Based on data from Statistics Iceland," the company noted, "Einstök is the largest exporter of alcoholic beverages from Iceland, representing nearly 85% of all beer exports and 95% of all beer exported to the US."
