Drinks Americas Holdings has lined up the launch of its Rheingold beer brand in the state of Georgia.

The company, which acquired Rheingold back in 2005, said yesterday (6 January) that shipments to Georgia will begin today, via Savannah Distributing.

A total of 2,000 cases will make up the initial shipment.

Hailing from New York, Rheingold is available in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and now Georgia. Drinks Americas said that it plans to expand Rheingold's coverage to Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Maryland, DC,  Illinois, Kentucky and Massachusetts.
