Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPSG) has launched a nationwide marketing campaign in the US for its new Dr Pepper Ten beverage.

Dr Pepper Ten, which officially launched yesterday (10 October), contains ten calories and is being targeted at men looking for "a lower-calorie option without the diet imagery". DPSG trialled Dr Pepper Ten in six US markets earlier this year, alongside a marketing campaign and television commercial.

After a successful test period, DPSG said it will now launch the beverage nationwide. It will be supported by a national television campaign, print and online media, including a Facebook application, which the company said only men will be able to access.
