Napa wine producer Domaine Chandon, Inc. has restructured its winemaking team, reflecting the company's growing sales of still wine.

With Domaine Chandon complementing its reputation for sparkling wine with a growing still wine business, the company has appointed Jim Kress as winemaker, still wines. Kress, formerly winemaker at Napa estate St Clement, will assume responsibility for Domaine Chandon's varietal wine programme and lead the expansion of the company's super premium varietal wines.

Tom Tiburzi, who has been with Domaine Chandon since 1989, has been named as winemaker, sparkling wines.

The company also announced that Wayne Donaldson has left his position in the winemaking team to pursue other interests.
