The British Medical Association (BMA) is expected to call for alcohol unit labeling on beers, wines and spirits at its public health conference tomorrow. The association is to call on the government to introduce labeling which indicates the number of alcoholic units contained in the drink and health warnings on the dangers of excessive consumption and the recommended weekly consumption limits.
