Energy drink producer DNA Beverage has announced that it has appointed Solid Gold Distributors as its distributor for Tennessee and Mississippi, completing its expansion into the southeast US.

Tennessee-based Solid Gold has been servicing convenience stores and independent grocers in southwest Tennessee and northwest Mississippi for the past 12 years, and includes brands such as Gatorade, Everfresh, Tropicana and Ozark Water in its portfolio.

"Solid Gold is a quality addition to our distributor network and together we will prosper while building the DNA brand," said John Duva, DNA's vice president of sales.

J.D. Eckler, president of Solid Gold, said: "We take pride in the customer relationships & friendships we've built over the years based on providing quality products and service with a smile. We are happy to be able to add the DNA Energy Drink line to our portfolio of products and look forward to building out our territory for years to come."

The official launch through the Solid Gold network is scheduled for 26 November. "Our sampling teams who have been in the area for several weeks prior to launch, as is our custom, have reported overwhelming enthusiasm for our taste profile and graphics," Duva said.
