Diageo has unveiled a new global campaign that covers four of its Johnnie Walker variants.

The Johnnie Walker Blue Label ad features a world-champion free diver

The company said today the push will use a series of images to focus on the “character” of the blended Scotch whiskies, Gold, Black, Blue and Double Black labels. The images will be used in outdoor, print, digital, social and PR activations globally, a Diageo spokesperson told just-drinks.

The adverts will roll out around the world starting from today, and include world-champion free diver Guillaume Nery diving in the Yucatan Peninsula for Blue Label and golden disco balls floating down a river in the Scottish Highlands for Gold Label.

Total spend on the campaign was not disclosed. 

In July, Diageo announced a short online film staring actor Jude Law to promote its Johnnie Walker Blue Label brand. The video has so far received 2.3m YouTube views.
