Diageo has completed its first share buyback of the week. The company said yesterday (18 April) that it has purchased 650,000 ordinary shares to be held as treasury shares.

The transaction, throught CSFB Europe Ltd, valued the shares at 771.73 pence each.

Diageo now holds 68.53m treasury shares, with 2,981,473,890 ordinary shares still in circulation.
