The Year of the Dog bottle series marks the fifth instalment of the annual limited edition series for Johnnie Walker Blue Label. The design is said to be inspired by the "precious bond between man and dog".

The bottles, created in collaboration with Taiwanese artist Page Tsou, are available in selected Global Travel Retail outlets around the world, with an RRP of GBP175 (US$234) per one-litre bottle.

"The ... design consists of a total of four dogs all chosen for their special meaning in Asia," said Tsou. "This ... design tells the story of Johnnie Walker's Striding Man and a loyal companion as they journey around the world bringing prosperity and rejoicing in the arrival of the New Year."
