Diageo has launched two new Baileys flavours exclusively at BAA's seven UK airports this month.

The new flavours - Baileys with a hint of Mint Chocolate and Baileys with a hint of Crème Caramel - will be sold at BAA's 67 UK World Duty Free stores for a trial period of six months. The two line extensions are both bottled at 17% ABV and are priced at GBP11.99 each.

The line extensions make their debut in the same month that the company announced it was scrapping Baileys Glide, an earlier 4% ABV vanilla-flavoured line extension launched in 2003.

Commenting on the launch, World Duty Free managing director Mark Riches said: "We are thrilled that Baileys has recognised the enormous power of World Duty Free by choosing to launch two new flavours in its stores. We are confident that with 10m passengers passing through BAA airports every month, we will offer incredible exposure for these exciting new flavours."

BAA's seven UK airports include London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

Baileys is the most popular liqueur in duty-free/travel-retail, but Diageo has revealed the brand experienced a decline in duty-free volumes in the year to 30 June.
