Diageo has completed another share buyback transaction. The company, which announced today (23 June) that it will continue its buyback programme during its pending close period, has bought a further 725,000 ordinary shares.

The transaction, through CSFB Europe Ltd, valued the shares at 817.14 pence each.

Diageo now holds a total of 84.94m shares with a further 2,965,423,888 shares still in issue.
