Diageo has completed another share buyback transaction. The company said yesterday (12 April) that it has purchased a further 500,000 ordinary shares, which will all be held as treasury shares.

The transaction, through CSFB Europe Ltd, valued the shares at 792.87 pence per share.

Following this transaction, Diageo now holds 66.38m ordinary shares as treasury shares. The remaining number of ordinary shares in issue is now 2,983,612,872, the company said.
