Deutsche Bank has lowered its rating of PepsiAmericas Inc from "buy" to "hold". The bank raised the company's target price, however, to US$27 from US$26.

In a research note, the bank's analyst said PepsiAmericas was affected by domestic price erosion, higher input costs and currency risks, all of which limited further multiple expansion.
