UK-based food and drinks company, Cadbury Schweppes plc, today confirmed that Dr Franz Humer, its deputy chairman, will resign from the Board of Cadbury Schweppes, effective immediately. Dr Humer was appointed chairman of Roche Holding in April 2001 and has subsequently decided to resign from all other non-executive posts. A further announcement about Dr Humer's replacement will be made in due course, the company said.
