New Zealand wine company Delegat has entered the Chinese market through a newly-opened office in Shanghai.

Delegat's Oyster Bay has entered the Chinese market

The company behind the Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate brands has established Delegat (Shanghai) Trading Co.

Madeleine Ho, national sales manager, said: "We believe in order to realise the great long-term potential of the market, we need to build enduring relationships.  This is why we have set up our own sales team in China and are representing these two great wine brands ourselves, working closely with our wholesale partners in each city and district."

Oyster Bay wines available in China include Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Oyster Bay Marlborough Chardonnay, Oyster Bay Marlborough Pinot Noir and Oyster Bay Hawke's Bay Merlot.  

Barossa Valley Estate wines available in China include Barossa Valley Estate Shiraz, Barossa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Barossa Valley Estate Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre (GSM).
