American Beverage Corp. is to launch a line of cocktail RTDs to be sold in US bars and restaurants that are licensed to sell beer and wine but not spirits.

The company is extending its Daily's cocktail range with the launch of 1.75-litre bag-in-box packages for chilled cocktails and 10oz servings for frozen cocktails. The chilled collection will be available in four flavours - Margarita, Cosmopolitan, Appletini and Mangotini, while the frozen range will come in Margarita and Strawberry Daiquiri.

Tim Barr, director of marketing for Daily's, said on Monday (8 May): "Cocktails are all the rage these days. We have an RTD product that offers on-premise operators a way to capitalise on this trend and deliver great tasting cocktails to their customers without the big expense of a spirits licence. It's a win-win-win!"
