Pre-tax profits for one of Russia's largest vodka and liquor producers Cristall rose 73.6% in the first half to R290.263m (US$9.6m) according to a report by Interfax. The report also said that the company's first half sales earnings rose 30.4% to R3.669bn compared to the first half of last year.
