Philippines soft drinks company, Cosmos Bottling Corporation, has revised its 2001 net income from the previously stated Peso692.745m to Peso672.596m.

The 2000 net income figure was Peso691.155m. Cosmos also said that net sales in 2001 were Peso8.01 billion, higher than the previously reported Peso7.26 billion.

Cosmos, the second largest soft drinks company in the Philippines, was the subject of a Peso14 billion joint takeover by San Miguel and the Coca-Cola Co. last year, a deal which is still being completed through a tender offer to the company's minority shareholders.
