Constellation Brands has rolled out a new campaign for Meiomi that includes the Californian wine's first TV ad.

Beginning this week, Constellation will showcase the Pinot Noir's three sourcing regions - Sonoma, Monterey, and Santa Barbara counties - in a marketing campaign focussed on out-of-home advertising. The 'Flavour Forward' campaign highlights the brand's taste profile.

The campaign - Meiomi's largest by investment spend, according to Constellation - will feature digital advertising, retail, sampling, PR, experiential events and strategic partnerships, including one with golf's PGA Tour.

The debut TV ad for Meiomi will air on US cable television networks from November and December.

"The new campaign underscores our signature tri-appellation sourcing and the… taste experience we create blending the flavours of three premieres coastal California wine regions together," said Jaymie Schoenberg, VP of marketing.

In other wine news this week, Anheuser-Busch InBev's Australian subsidiary, Carlton & United Breweries, purchased draught wine producer Riot Wine Co.
