Constellation Brands has unveiled the design plans for its Svedka vodka-branded alcoholic seltzer.

The 4.5% Svedka Spiked Premium Seltzers, available in three flavours, was announced by Constellation CEO Rob Sands in April. This week, the agency behind the project released packaging shots of the RTD cans, which contain 100 calories per serving and target female consumers.

The plans, by US agency Brigade, also revealed the brand extension's flavours - Strawberry Elderflower, Tangerine Hibiscus and Cucumber Basil.

In April, Sands said his company was "excited" about the alternative beverage alcohol space, which he believes is "incremental to the beer category".

"At 100 calories, [Svedka Spiked] is targeted at the female consumer, who is looking for better-for-you... options that fit an attractive and active lifestyle," Sands said.

The CEO also said Constellation would launch barrel-finished lager Western Standard and Corona Refresca, a premium spiked refresher in two tropical flavours.
