Coca-Cola remains the World's most valuable brand, according to a recent survey. The brand was placed at the top of an annual ranking of the top 100 for the seventh year in a row in a Business Week/Interbrand survey.

The ranking positions were determined by the percentage of a company's revenue that can be credited to its brand, and incorporates market leadership, stability and global reach.

Coke's brand was valued at US$67.5bn in the survey, the same as last year.

Other drinks brands to feature in the top 100 included Diageo's Smirnoff vodka in 88th position, and Dutch brewer Heineken at 100 with a value of US$2.3bn.

Brands which do not earn at least a third of their earnings from outside their domestic market were not included in the survey.
