Coca-Cola France has set a date for the launch of its Dasani water brand in the country. The company intends to press on with the release of the bottled water brand in France, despite further negative press coverage for Dasani in the UK.

The British media has followed its widespread coverage of Coke's revelation that Dasani was sourced from the mains water supply in the UK, with reports this weekend that the soft drink giant is to recall all bottles of the brand after levels of bromate were found to exceed legal levels.

Dasani is scheduled to hit shelves in France's shop on 19 April.
