Coca-Cola Saudi Arabia has announced a large investment in its facilities, according to local reports. Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper said yesterday (26 October) that the company has ploughed SAR900m (US$240m) into developing its operations in the country.

The investment has led to 2,000 direct jobs being created in Saudi Arabia, with another 20,000 jobs coming indirectly, the newspaper said.
