Shareholders at Coca-Cola FEMSA have approved the company's latest dividend payment.

Coke shareholders yesterday (8 Mrach) approved the payment of a dividend totalling MXN694.3m (US$64.7m), broken down to MXN0.376 a share. The payment will be made on 15 June.

At the same meetings, shareholders approved the annual report presented by the board, the consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31 December, 2005, the declaration of the dividend for fiscal year 2005 and the composition of the board of directors for 2006.

Series "L" shareholders also approved the non-cancellation of the 98,684,857 Series "L" shares. These shares will be made available to FEMSA's board for issuance in connection with future transactions.
