Coca-Cola Hellenic (CCHBC) has confirmed that it plans to cut its workforce in Poland.

The Greece-based Coca-Cola bottler said today (13 January) that it will shed around 150 jobs in the country, representing 4.5% of its Polish workforce.

When contacted by just-drinks, a spokesperson for CCHBC said the jobs will be cut starting next month. "Like many other companies, Coca-Cola Hellenic is looking to realign its business with what's going on in the consumer environment," the spokesperson said, declining to detail how much the company hopes to save as a result of the move.

The company will look to introduce the cuts at its Polish head office, with administrative jobs set to bear the brunt.

Warsaw-based Coca-Cola HBC Polska owns and operates four bottling plants in Poland.
