John Hunter will succeed Alexander Cummings, who retired from Coca-Cola Hellenic's board yesterday

The board of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Co has elected John Hunter as a director of the company.

Hunter will succeed Alexander Cummings, who retired from the company's board yesterday (9 December).

Cummings has been a non-executive member of Coca-Cola Hellenic's board of directors for four years and a member of the group's human resources and social responsibility committees.

Hunter, who will also replace Cummings on the committees, was named president of Coca-Cola International in 1991, a position he held until his retirement in 1996. He also served on the board of Coca-Cola Amatil, Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, The Coca-Cola Co, Coca-Cola Bottling Co of New York and Coca-Cola Beverages.
