Coca-Cola European Partners has announced the latest ad campaign for its Diet Coke brand in the UK.

The campaign, which includes a TV ad, out-of-home, digital and limited edition packs, is part of the brand's wider 'You Do You' initiative. The new TV spot features "people who aren't afraid to embrace mainstream trends and challenge the status quo", the company said, including an appearance from Love Island star Ovie Soko.

Soko, who is a professional basketball player with the London Lions, appeared in the fifth season of the ITV Love Island reality TV show.

The ad will run during January and February, while limited-edition cans and 50cl PET bottles will feature "popular cultural phrases" such as Byeee, Can't Even, I Know Right and You Do You.

Last month, CCEP opened a new production line in the UK. The new line, at its Edmonton facility in north London, will make bag-in-box products, which contain concentrate for food-service and on-premise operators to mix with carbonated water in order to dispense draught soft drinks.
