Coca-Cola is relaunching Sprite Cranberry and the zero-calorie version

The Coca-Cola Co has re-released a cranberry flavoured variant of its Sprite brand in the US and a zero-calorie version.

Sprite Cranberry and Sprite Cranberry Zero are being sold in US stores nation-wide until the end of the year. The variants of the CSD brand are available in 12-ounce cans and 2-litre bottles, with Sprite Cranberry also in a 20-ounce bottle.

The two products launched last year for a limited time, and were Sprite's first new flavours since 2005, the company said.

Coca-Cola said the cranberry variant is aimed at “end-of-summer moments” and “holiday celebrations”.

In March, the company teamed up with US basketball player LeBron James to launch Sprite 6 Mix - another limited edition, flavoured extension of the brand.
