Coca-Cola Amatil has launched an extension to its Pump bottled water brand in Australia that contains electrolytes from coconut water.

Pump+ natural electrolytes also has a hint of natural lime flavour and is targetted at "active and health conscious Australians", CCA said yesterday. The product includes a new bottle and packaging design that attempts to highlight its health credentials.

To support the launch, CCA has hired New York-based Australian artist Nick Thomm to create street posters for locations across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The campaign will also feature out-of-home, digital, social, sampling, in-store and gym activations, CCA said.

The company, which is Coca-Cola's bottler in Australia and New Zealand but also operates its own brands such as Pump, has been active outside of soft drinks recently. Last month, it agreed to purchase Western Australia's Feral Brewing Co, adding the brewery to its extensive spirits and beer portfolio.
