Coca-Cola Amatil has kicked off the Australian distribution of Made Group's smoothies and juice brands, nine months after acquiring a stake in the Rokeby Farms and Impressed owner.

The agreement, announced today, will see CCA expand the availability of the brands to around 50,000 outlets across the country, in both the on- and off-premise channels. CCA said the move is expected to provide growth opportunities for Rokeby Farms and Impressed "between now and the end of the year".

Nine months earlier, Coca-Cola Amatil partnered with Coca-Cola Co to buy 45% of Made Group for an unspecified sum.

Matt Dennis, co-founder of Made Group, said: "We are excited to have two of our key brands, Rokeby Farms and Impressed, being distributed through Amatil's expansive distribution network as it will allow even more Australians to enjoy our beverages every day".

CCA managing director Peter West added: "We've heard the message on consumer wellbeing and we're delivering with a broader range of options…. I'm delighted that we are able to offer Made's excellent products".

Last month, CCA announced the divestment of its SPC fruit and vegetable processing unit in Australia to Shepparton Partners Collective.
