Coca-Cola Amatil will hold its AGM on 16 May

Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) has announced the retirement in May of three directors, along with the previously-announced retirement of chairman David Gonski.

The company said earlier today that non-executive directors David Meiklejohn, Wal King and Tony Froggatt will step down at the firm's AGM. Meanwhile, Gonski will be succeeded at the meeting by Ilana Atlas, who has been on CCA's board since 2011.

CCA said it has allowed for the three additional retirements through a "succession planning process".

"The board has increased in size by the appointment of three additional directors since 2015 – John Borghetti (in 2015), Mark Johnson (in 2016) and Paul O'Sullivan (in 2017)."

Johnson is expected to replace Meiklejohn as chairman of the audit and risk committee at the AGM.

The firm will look to appoint an additional board member later this year. The AGM takes place on 16 May.
