Coca-Cola North America has unveiled three additions to its Dasani bottled water brand in the US.

The company confirmed today (31 May) that the three Dasani Plus extensions - Refresh + Revive, Cleanse + Restore and Defend + Protect - will be available in the US from next month in 20oz PET bottles.

The new additions - in kiwi strawberry, pomegranate blackberry and orange tangerine flavours respectively - contain zero calories and a raft of vitamins.

"The time was right to build on the success of the Dasani brand and its great taste promise, and to create the fresh-tasting enhanced water Dasani Plus," said Gloria Garrett, Coca-Cola North America vice president of hydration. "For consumers already seeking the added health benefits that vitamins and minerals provide, a nutrient-enhanced Dasani water with zero calories per serving is a real 'Plus'.'"

The roll-out will be backed throughout the year by a marketing program that includes consumer sampling programs, Web/interactive communications, radio, point-of-purchase displays and public relations.
