Brazilian brewer, Cervejaria Cintra is expected to open one of four new breweries in May, as part of an ambitious five-year investment plan. Based in Santarem, near the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, the new Cintra brewery (costing $58m) will have the capacity to produce 150m litres of beer, 30m litres of soft drinks and 30m litres of mineral water a year.
