UK: Chivas Regal set to take a ‘fall
Chivas Regal Scotch whisky is launching a new TV advert.
The brand, owned by Pernod Ricard's Chivas Brothers unit, will run the new ad globally. The campaign, entitled 'Waterfall' and filmed at the Iguazu falls on the Argentinean/Brazilian border, is part of a EUR55m annual global media spend, the company said today (12 June).
"The Chivas Life is a powerful global campaign which successfully brings to life the core Chivas Regal brand proposition 'Appetite for Life'," said Paul Godfrey, Chivas Regal's marketing director. "The latest advertisement 'Waterfall' is memorable and visually awe-inspiring. It captures a moment all of us would love to experience and illustrates what the Chivas Life is all about."
The advertisement follows three male friends who travel by sea plane to land on a lake. They then transfer to a boat in order to take in the falls.
