Big Rock Brewery has confirmed a change of chief financial officer.

The Canada-based craft brewer said late last week that Dwayne Dubois assumed the position at the beginning of this month, replacing Colleen McLeod, who only became CFO in January 2008.

Details behind McLeod's departure were not immediately available, although the company said that Dubois had "the ongoing support of the previous CFO.

Dubois joins Big Rock from Enmax Corporation, where he had been vice president of finance. Prior to joining Enmax, Dubois held the position of director of finance and information technology at Canada Brokerlink.

"Dwayne will fit in well with the Big Rock culture," said Ed McNally, president and CEO of Big Rock. "We are very fortunate to have attracted a person of his experience and professional qualifications."

Big Rock is preparing to convert to new international accounting standards at the beginning of next year.
