Leading South African natural fruit juice producer, Ceres Fruit Juices has received ISO 9001 accreditation from the International Standards Organisation.

This follows a recent Award for Excellence from the American Tasting Institute in recognition of its innovative products. CFJ, which has its head office in Paarl and production facility in Ceres, markets its Ceres, Liquifruit, Fruitree and Capri-Sonne juices to more than 40 countries worldwide.

The initial audit was conducted by local and international analysts and the final audit implemented by the South African Bureau of Standards on behalf of the international organisation.

To meet the demanding requirements of the ISO accreditation, CJF improved its quality control systems as well as its manufacturing and distribution processes.

"CFJ now complies with these international standards, as well as product development, sales, marketing, human resources and financial management," said Technical Manager, Dr Willem Botha.
