Cecchetti Wine Co has recruited two members to its sales team in the US.

Cheryl Ames has been appointed to the newly-created role of midwest regional sales manager for the firm's Redtree, Line 39, and Backhouse brands, the company said yesterday (12 October). She has around ten years of wine sales management experience and joins Cecchetti from Distinctive Wine & Spirits.

Ames will be responsible for sales in seven states across the US.

In addition, Kortney Fitchner will fill the newly-created role of sales ambassador for Northern California. She has around five years' experience in wines sales, hospitality, and events coordination, and has held roles with Francis Ford Coppola Winery, Jackson Estate Enterprises, Kendall-Jackson Winery, and Hilton Hotels.

Cecchetti launched its Backhouse wine range in March.
