The CCU bottling company, which is owned by the Luksic family, has secured the franchise to produce and distribute the Gatorade sports drink in Chile.

CCU already holds the Chilean franchise for other PepsiCo products.

The company is confident Gatorade will soon establish itself in the Chilean sports drinks market, which has been growing rapidly in recent years from a small base.
