Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Co. (CCHBC) has entered into exclusive negotiations to join The Coca-Cola Co. in buying Serbian fruit juice producer Fresh and Co.
CCHBC said today (9 September) that the purchase of Serbia-Montenegro's "leading producer of fruit juices" would involve a production facility at Subotica, as well as the juice and nectar brands Next and Su-Voce.

The company also said that it will begin immediate distribution in Serbia-Montenegro of Fresh and Co. products.

Earlier this year, CCHBC purchased Bulgarian mineral water company Bankia, while it bought the Russian fruit juice company Multon and Serbian mineral water company Vlasinka jointly with Coke.

Coca-Cola has a 24% stake in CCHBC.
