Coca-Cola Enterprises has unveiled an addition to its Coca-Cola portfolio in the UK.

The company confirmed today (21 March) that Coca-Cola with Lime will be available for the next six months. The new drink will be available in specially-created green PET 500ml and 2-litre bottles, and will be backed by a GBP1.2m (US$2.1m) campaign including a TV ad on air in April and May.

"Consumers are increasingly adventurous and we are keen to continue to innovate in order to meet changing demands and tastes," said Anita Huntley, head of carbonates at CCE. "It will appeal not only to regular 'Coca-Cola' drinkers, but also to new consumers who will love the new taste and its refreshing appeal. We are confident it will add significant incremental volume to the category."

Coca-Cola with Lime will also be available in 330ml six-pack formats for grocery stores.

Earlier this month, CCE unveiled an extension to its Oasis water and fruit juice portfolio in the UK, with the launch of Oasis Fusion, available in passion fruit & vanilla, and fusion berry & elderflower flavours.
