Six executives with Coca-Cola Enterprises have been handed a total of US$1.13m in "special cash awards", according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The awards were given for 2004 performance.

The executives included chief operating officer G. David Van Houten Jr., who was handed US$293,601, CFO Shaun B. Higgins (awarded US$195,053) and general counsel John J. Culhane (who was given US$168,974).

Coca-Cola Enterprises reported 2004 net income of US$596m down from 2003's figure of US$676m.
