Coca-Cola Enterprises' executive vice president and general counsel John Culhane plans to leave the company at the end of the year.

The company said late last week that Culhane will remain available on a limited basis until 2009 to assist with transition issues.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, CCE also named Joseph Heinrich, who has served in finance positions in the company's European operation since 1996, as chief accounting officer. CCE has appointed Charles Lischer as Heinrich's replacement as vice president for finance in Europe.

Lischer will transfer to London on 1 September.
