The leading Australian soft drink producer and bottler Coca-Cola Amatil has said that it has received a 60.55% acceptance rate for its takeover offer of the home and office water company Neverfail Springwater. The figure broke the 50.1% needed to trigger Amatil's revised higher bid of A$2.35, which it put in late last week. Amatil made an original offer of A$2.25 seven weeks ago.
